These courses have proven to be an effective means of reducing product downtime and repair expenditures.

Classes are offered for each electronic drug delivery device. Training courses cover device troubleshooting and repair to the assembly and subassembly levels.

Who should attend:

Biomedical/Clinical Engineers responsible for the inspection, repair, and performance verification of customer-owned Hospira infusion devices, or who want to perform non-warranty related repairs on devices owned and serviced by the company.

Class attendees will learn to:

• Implement repairs to assembly level
• Use the Technical Service Manual as a diagnostic tool
• Execute the Performance Verification Test (PVT)
• Disassemble and reassemble the device
• Set up the infusion device for correct operation
